So I made a pvp ranger with the bar you've described Lurch

Nightmare Weapon
Dual Shot
Forked Arrow
Escape
Whirling Defense
Rez Sig
Troll Unguent
Concussion Shot

I sat back and lawled my way to 5 wins.

Seriously the only damage this puts out is when you Nightmare-->Dual/Forked

When I was targeted I threw up Escape real quick and they went back to the other ranger. However that does not mean that Escape needs to be nerfed. Spells and hexes still hit me, and skills can still hit even with the 75% block.

After all if everyone could own anyone with any thrown together in 2 seconds build, there would be no competition. Escape isn't that great nor overpowering in the least bit. Just degen the health out of them and its pretty much over. The damage is also mediocre.

Alright, I think this thread has gone on enough. I can't recall a single thread that had the word "nerf" in it that wasn't full of flames. That's not to say that nerfs are never necessary, but let's not spend this much effort analyzing a whole class. Any class can be put under the microscope like this.

So, I'm going to close this thread.
